Our Osteopath Mark Walsh has over 25 years of experience in the industry. He is accredited by the Institute of Osteopathy and the General Osteopathic Council (GosC). Our osteopathy treatment includes manual techniques like manipulation, stretching and soft tissue techniques. It aims to increase mobility, relieve tension and enhance blood supply. This will reduce the body's inflammatory responses and reduce pain. Treatment is not painful and will provide significant pain relief.

Osteopathy Treatment

Your first consultation will be around 30 minutes. During this time we will discuss your symptoms and your general health. We will determine if a GP referral is necessary. All relevant joints and muscles will be examined and treatment is included within the first appointment. The treatment will reduce inflammation and muscle spasms to provide pain relief. We use the following techniques:

• Soft tissue - Light to firm pressure applied to the painful muscles.

• Articulation - Gentle joint movements to increase flexibility.

• Manipulation - This is often accompanied with some clicking. (This will only be carried out if you are comfortable).
